Children’s Lantern Parade
Friday, November 1 at 6:15 p.m.
Join us as we launch the 2024 Arts Affair with a vibrant lantern parade!
Come dressed in your finest costumes, create eye-catching signs, and adorn your non-motorized vehicles in dazzling decorations. This community event is free for all to attend.

Friday, November 1st
- 6:15 p.m.: Parade participants gather at Fulwood Park.
- 6:30 p.m.: the parade makes its way down Tift Avenue and ends in front of the Syd Blackmarr Arts Center at the Arts Affair Main Stage.
- The fun doesn’t end there! The Food Truck Courtyard will be serving up delicious treats, while Relapse, South Georgia’s ultimate Party Band, takes the stage at 7:00 p.m.
Participant registration is encouraged, but not required.

Arts Circus Craft Stations
Saturday, November 2, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Kids of all ages are invited to experience the magic of the Arts Circus, located in Art Alley between The Syd and the Tifton-Tift County Public Library!
Get ready to dive into a world of artistry and fun, with activities like marble painting, coffee filter butterflies, bracelet design, balloon animals, and mesmerizing magic shows!
Partnering with local creatives and organizations, children will have a blast exploring a variety of art activities at our diverse and free craft stations.
