About the Tifton Council for the Arts
The Tifton Council for the Arts is a Tifton-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to making the arts available, affordable, and accessible to everyone. We believe the arts are essential to a thriving community, and we work year-round to ensure people of all ages and backgrounds can experience and participate in creative expression.
Much of our work takes place in the historic Syd Blackmarr Arts Center, but our reach extends across the community through partnerships with local schools, the public library, Downtown Tifton initiatives, and the Tifton Housing Authority. Together, these collaborations bring arts education, public art, and creative programming into everyday spaces.
At the heart of our work is a simple belief: when people have access to the arts, communities become more connected, creative, and vibrant.
