About the Event
Step into a world of timeless beauty as we unveil our 3rd Annual Antiques, Fine Art, and Design Week, where art, history, and nature intertwine in a tribute to the beloved camellia. With its lush blooms and storied past, the camellia has long been a symbol of grace, resilience, and artistic inspiration. This year, we invite you to immerse yourself in its splendor through a series of thoughtfully curated events.
The Art of Camellias, a captivating pop-up exhibit, will showcase exquisite works by local artists, each capturing the delicate charm and vibrant hues of this cherished bloom. Garden enthusiasts and novices alike will delight in an expert-led lecture on The First Ladies Camellia collection, as well as what’s new in the world of Camellia cultivation. History unfolds in a special presentation, The Seedling: The Origin of the Betty Sheffield Camellia, where Bruce Green will share the fascinating story behind one of the South’s most celebrated varieties. These enriching experiences are free and open to the public.
For those eager to step beyond the gallery and into living works of art, the Camellia Garden Tour offers an exclusive glimpse into three private gardens of Tifton, where these resplendent blooms flourish. This ticketed event invites you to stroll through serene landscapes and experience the camellia’s beauty in its most natural setting. Tickets for the tour are $20 per person.
Join us as we celebrate the legacy and artistry of the camellia—a flower that continues to inspire and enchant across generations.
