The Tifton Council for the Arts depends on our Volunteers to plan exhibits, fundraise, and run our events.  As our organization continues to grow, we are adapting to new changes and challenges in meeting the needs of the community through promoting art activities. Current activities include providing take-home art boxes for students, conducting art classes either online or in person, the annual Arts Affair arts festival, art exhibits, and children’s art scholarships. The museum building is a beautiful restored historic landmark in Tifton which needs constant love and care. Our building is used for classes, exhibits, and fundraisers and is also available to rent as an event space.

With these expanding programs, the need for Volunteers is now more than ever.  If you have an interest in the Museum and the greater purpose it serves to enrich our great community, please consider being a member of our Tifton Arts Alliance!

We have many opportunities for your involvement and each volunteer is greatly appreciated.  Our Museum Guild Volunteers assist the Museum in a variety of ways, such as:

  • Addressing Patron Letters
  • Assisting with Take-home Art Boxes
  • Arts Affair Event Volunteer
  • Docenting for Exhibits
  • Kids Summer Art Camp Volunteer
  • Fundraising
  • Planning the Annual Gala
  • Planning Receptions
  • Writing Thank You Notes/Birthday Cards
